For Immediate Release
Munnsville, NY (November 1, 2009) – There is only one decision to make when selecting a Ferris 21” commercial walk-behind mower: do you want to bag or mulch? Ferris HI-VAC® bagging mowers are high-volume combined with top discharge mower decks and hi-lift blades to provide the ultimate in bagging performance. Or, choose the patented Ninja® mulcher which provides the optimum mulching performance.
A powerful Kawasaki FJ180V overhead valve engine provides plenty of power for efficient mulching and features pressurized lubrication and spin-on oil filter. The Kawasaki engine is available in both mulching and bagging configurations. A dependable Honda GXV160 is available in a bagger.
An exclusive self-propelled disc drive delivers more of the engine’s power directly to the drive wheels. It is the ultimate in reliable performance and, because it eliminates complicated clutches, it offers easy serviceability. The automotive-style smooth-turn differential makes turning smooth and easy.
All three models feature 14-gauge steel decks, a solid steel front axle, 8” front steel wheels with ball bearings and 10” rear steel wheels. The cutting height can be adjusted in seven positions from 1.25” to 4.0”. A 2.5 bushel bag is standard with HI-VAC models.
