Munnsville, NY (June 26, 2007) – Ferris Industries will again sponsor the GIE+EXPO “Run With the Winners” 5K run/walk to benefit the WHAS Louisville Crusade for Children. The event will take place on Saturday, October 27th at 7:30 a.m. at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky. All exhibitors and attendees of The Green Industry and Equipment Expo are welcome to participate. The entry fee is only $10, all of which will be donated to the WHAS Crusade for Children (www.whascrusade.org). Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and race bib.
Other co-sponsors helping to make this event possible include: the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, GIE+EXPO, Sellers Expositions, PRO Magazine, YARD & GARDEN Magazine, Masterpiece Creations and Seaboard Graphics.
“The run has grown each of the past two years and we are very excited about this year’s race,” said Bill Bower, Director of Commercial Marketing for Ferris. “It's a great event for a great cause and we hope to build on our momentum for 2007.”
